Brand new to this! I'm bidding on an Item and paying with PayPal. I had already set a maximum price with PayPal, but I set a higher price on the Sniper. Do I have to increase my max bid with PayPal or will it automatically go up because the Sniper is linked? Thanks

PayPal does not make any bids, so I don't understand how you can set a price with PayPal.

When you snipe, you just set your maximum snipe amount in the sniper. You don't need to bid on eBay for the snipe to work.

Let me clarify. Say I set my maximum bid amount I am willing to pay for the item on Ebay for $180.Then say I set the Sniper max amount to $200. Will that affect what the final bid will go up to? Logging into Ebay I have the option to increase my maximum bid and Paypal is my payment method.Please excuse my confusion...as I said I'm new and I am aware PayPal doesn't do the bidding...I worded my question badly. I put my bid on ebay before I found out about this application

There is no point in setting your maximum amount directly on eBay and so drive the price up. That defeats one of the purpose of sniping.
You just set your maximum in the sniper instead and let it go.

If, for whatever reason, you need to make sure you are allowed to bid, you can bid on eBay using the minimum possible amount just to test things out and that's all.

Ok thanks I get it now. As I said I bid on Ebay before I found out about the sniper
