For some reason if I manually check the website the current bid is different from what I see in the ibidder interface
P.S I linked my ebay account with it and imported the watch-list

Did you try to click the "Refresh" button located under item's information on the Snipe screen?
Please check.
Also note the current bid in the sniper does not affect the actual sniping.
