for some reason the snipe these button has vanished from any pages I want to place a snipe bid on, I've un and reinstalled it on my chrome but it still wont give me the option, any ideas how I can get it back? thanks!!

This is because eBay made some changes to the layout.
There is a newer version of the extension available which reflects that. The version is 2.0.1, but I see Google did not push it to everyone yet.
Please wait when it becomes available for you. Normally, Chrome updates it automatically.

Please note if you don't see the icon, the sniper will work anyway and place your bid.

Whew! I *love* the extension--and it just went away, so glad to hear that it should wend its way back to me.

I'm getting reports from other users that they see the update now.
On some browsers you may need to re-enable the extension because of the manifest version update. For example, in my Chrome browser, I see the "Error" button on the right upper side of the window. When I click on it, it asks me to "Accept permissions" to get the update activated.

If you could not figure out how to enable that, the easiest way is to reinstall the extension by removing it and installing again from https://www.myibidder.com/link/chrome
