I just wanted to know if is needed to give my ebay information(user and password) to use this extension on chrome. I have it installed and it seems to work on ebay, it shows the window and asks me for the amount to bid an all that. But in the faq section it says that you need to link your ebay account. I don't want to give away my ebay info. Is this neccesary?

You need to create your sniper's account at https://www.myibidder.com/login/signup
Then you link it to your eBay account.

When you use the Chrome extension, you always login to the sniper using your sniper's account you just created when you see the login prompt.
The sniper does not ask or store your eBay credentials.
