I got "Your PayPal account is not linked to your eBay account" message.
I use PayPal to pay for my auctions and never had any problem.
What should I do? Please advise.

That happens when seller put a requirement to have your PayPal account linked to your eBay account.
Sometimes you can get "You either don't have a PayPal account or your PayPal account is not linked to your eBay account" message as well.
Having a PayPal account does not mean that you have it linked.

If you believe that your PayPal account is linked, you can try to unlink it and link it back to confirm.

You were right. I searched for the same problem on google and found out that my PayPal and eBay accounts were not linked.
So it's linked now. Mistery solved! Thanks!

As far as I know, it's not required.
That will be needed later when you are about to make payment.

I just missed a bid because of this same error. I've never had any problem before ebay came up with this link your paypal account crap. I don't want my paypal account linked because I have two paypal accounts, one for business, and one for personal, and I don't like it auto paying for stuff with my business account when I use the app to buy something for personal use.

I'm not sure why you assume it will autopay. You have to confirm your payment as you did before, there is no autopay or anything like that.

But if you still don't want to link, then you can not bid on listing where sellers require so.
This has nothing to do with the sniper, that's how seller can restrict his/her listings. You will not be able to place your bid even manually directly on eBay. If you can't bid directly on eBay, then sniper can't bid too.
