In your FAQ you say "myibay.com will switch times automatically between DST/EST when required. You don't need to worry about this."
Although Britain gave GMT to the world, we have our own ideas about British Summer Time (BST) and when it starts and ends, and other parts of the world are never quite in step with us!!
See here for EST/DST:
http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/usa/eastern-time/
and here for GMT/BST:
http://wwp.britishsummertime.co.uk/
EST/DST started 9th March - BST started 30th March
EST/DST ends 2nd November - BST ends 26th October
Will the UKs BST changes affect the timings set in myibay for snipes on eBay.co.uk during the periods 9th to 30th March, and 26th October to 2nd November 2008?
Good question.
However, AFAIK, eBay uses PST/PDT time for all auctions. I did a quick search and eBay auctions which are ending after March 30th has the same time as starting time.
If you could find some another example, please let me know.
Thanks.
