Hi, I had to change my ebay password and now I can't log into the android app. Is the license linked to the original password? If so can it be changed? My ebay username is the same my user id here. Thanks.

You just need to login using your current password so the sniper will sync it automatically.
Please do not guess your password, but enter it the same way as you do on eBay. Otherwise the system will temporary block you.

No I didn't guess my password(!?), I'd just changed it on my ebay account so I do know it.

Used the new password to log in to myibidder and it keeps telling me "Error while trying to log in: Wrong Bay user id or password."

I tried clearing data uninstalling and reinstalling the app changing my password again but nothing so I'm here now.

I have tried logging in with the old one once and new ones several times so I may be locked out. How long does the lock out last?

I see the last password you used is not a valid password. Please check that you login using the same login information as you do on eBay.

I am sure that I am using correct, new password because I can use use it on the eBay.

PS. I finally decided to use my old password and the application (android) let me through (?? really strange??).
I suspect that my bidding will not work even though I had activated one snipe. Anyway, we'll see in couple of minutes.

Here I am again and exactly as I have anticipated:
winning bid was 392$, my max was 427$, and I lost this auction due to that bug - my snipe didn't get through with explanation "Refused login ..."

Please make sure you login using your current password. Do not guess, but login using your password.
If not sure, login to eBay first, then login to the sniper.

Hi, it looks like you don't understand me:
- I can use my new password on the eBay but not to login to droid sniper app
- the sniper app accepts the old password, but this is not accepted by the ebay, or at least it wasn't last night

Since you can see both passwords I had used, you can try them yourself. One having ! at the end is a new one, and used couple of times at the beginning of all attempts.

Earlier, you mentioned that you could unblock something - can you do this for me ?
Also, how can I know "repaired bidder" is working ?
It seems trial and error is the only way i.e. submit a snipe and wait ?

One way to check is to try to access your Watch List. If you can see the list of item, your login information is good.

Ok, now I can login with my new password, I haven't got any watch list and app reported this correctly.

I did not do anything, that's your login and your password.
Sometimes eBay may put a temporary block after you changed your password, so you just need to wait some time for the block to be removed. That's probably what happened.

I checked the logs and it seems like eBay is asking for some account verification.
They did not provide the exact reason, but this usually happens for the following reasons:
1. Your password is too weak (too short, contains dictionary words, names, etc)
2. You have expiring Credit Card on file with eBay which needs to be updated
3. You made some other account change which trigger that. eBay usually removes verification step after 24 hours or so in this case

The password was chaged as some one hacked into my account.
Since then I am unable to use myibidder with new password.

It works with only old password so cant bid as ebay would not take old password.

Is there any way you can remove my ID from your list; I can re-register from scratch?

I have no control over eBay, so I can't remove anything there.
Myibidder is not affiliated with eBay in any way.

You probably need to wait at least 24 hours to get it cleared. It worked well for others.

New password is not recognized by myibidder (not eBay).
I am using my eBay without any trouble but cant get access to myibdder with the new password; it says wrong password.

If you reset my account I can start from scratch (like a new account).

There is nothing to reset on Myibidder's side.
It just tries to login to eBay using the information you supplied, and since eBay refused it, it refused you as well.
eBay has a full control over it.

As I mentioned, you just need to wait at least 24 hours or so, then try again.
If it won't work still, you may need to create a brand new account for sniping purposes only.
