My web version is set to a default bid at 6 seconds.
The app version defaults to 5 seconds. Whenever I check for details within the app, it asks whether to change the bid - probably since the times do differ.
Is there any chance to modifiy the bid time within the app?

You can modify the bid time by changing it using "My Time" option on the Snipe screen.
You can also set the default 5 seconds on the Web-based version to be in sync.

I can change it for the single auction and active item to 3/5/7/10/12 seconds within the app. But that's not what I asked for.
I'd like to change the default app value from 5 to 6.
So I take from your answer: no, the simple app interface it not made for such more advanced options.

The mobile has no option to set 6 seconds, and adding it adds no advantage since you have 5 and 7 which are very close to each other.
Yes, the mobile app interface is designed to make changes as simple as possible, so the only thing you have to type is the actual snipe amount only, the rest can be selected from the menu.
This is especially important on small screens of most mobile phones.
iOS app has an option to remove "My Time" field since most users don't use it anyway.
I think the best option for you is to make Web-based interface in sync by putting default value to be 5 or 7 seconds.
I'm thinking about showing the value you set on the Web interface, so you will not see that warning anymore.
For example, if you set 6 seconds on Web, you'll see 3/5/6/7/10 on mobile app, while 6 is selected. Then if you change 6 to 5 on mobile app and save it, you will not see 6 anymore unless you change it back to 6 using Web.
