I've been using Myibidder for years now and it's a fantastic tool which I'd struggle without.
The problem I find, over and over and over, which is extremely annoying, is that my eBay account is forever being temporarily suspended.
My initial password on eBay began with 01 and every time I get blocked, I'm asked to change my password and so now it ends with 56!
The reason I am getting suspended all of the time is because eBay don't recognize my computer and that's because myibidder are placing the bid on my behalf - from who knows where.
eBay have told me that I can give them another location (I'm assuming IP address) so that this problem doesn't continue.
Does anyone have a solution for me?
I'd be much obliged.
Regards

Sniper places your bids from another IP address, obviously.
I'm not sure if providing an IP address will help much. Is it possible for eBay to adjust "protection" to be easier on IPs? This way your account won't get suspended just because you logged in from your friend's PC or moved to another city.
There are many UK bidders on Myibidder who don't have such issue.
As an alternative, you could try to create a brand new eBay account (you are allowed to have multiple eBay accounts as long as you don't bid on your own items) and use it for sniping purposes?
Sometimes, longer passwords may help too.

I'm using it from overseas, so eBay see two IP addresses only from me - the one I use here and the one Myibidder use. If I participate manually, there's never a problem as they're aware of this address but whenever I use the snipes, which is a lot, within a few days my account becomes blocked.
I have another account specifically for this country but few people are willing to post and the ones that do generally over charge on postage, so my UK account is set with my brothers address and he forwards things on to me with a cheap courier.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure if I provided eBay with Myibidders IP, then they'd surely stop suspending me as they would have the only two locations on record from which I log into my account with.

You can have your account in, for example, US while providing the shipping address anywhere else (UK in your case).
The shipping address come in play when you pay.
If you set your UK address is the default address, you can even go around possible restrictions of some sellers who restrict bidder with non-UK shipping addresses.
I could give you exact IP, but it may change because Myibidder uses several source IPs (currently about 10) depending on the current load. All IPs are close to each other, but still different.
I think you can tell them you may bid from "US locations", this way you have better coverage for alternatives.
If they need more precise location (which I doubt), you can mention New York - New Jersey - Pennsylvania area.
P.S.: not sure if you aware, but eBay had some issues with Romania users in the past. There were several attacks from someone in Romania several years ago, so it may added some additional restrictions on your account.
