Need I to be disconnected from Ebay at the moment of the snipe? Thu Apr 24, 2008 09:17 AM Quote

Hi!

I've tried to snipe two articles from Ebay and no bid has been placed from myibay, I was watching the articles from ebay at the moment of the bid so I was wondering if maybe I had to log out from ebay in order to let myibay do the connection and place the bid.

Thanks!

Hello Matt,

I'm sorry for your missed snipes.
No, you don't need to logout during snipes. There must be some other reason why it was no taken.

Could you please provide me your auction numbers so I can tell you what was wrong.
Sometimes sellers put some restrictions so it might be the reason.

Btw, if you add your e-mail address to your profile, then you will be getting e-mail notification about status of every snipe made.

Thanks.

Hmmmmm, I think i'ts possible I programmed the snipe too late, I've seen there is a limit of 3 minutes before the end.
Later I've won an auction with myibay, it seems to work great.
Thank you!

That could be another reason also, you are right.
I'm glad you got it worked after all :)
Thanks for using myibay!
