I suggest that you put my snipe value
on the ebay watch list. So when I am
viewing my watch list, I can see my
snipe value. Currently I put it in
a note, but it is a bit of a pain.

Assuming you have Firefox/Chrome add-on installed, if you open the item's listing, you'll see your snipe amount and its correspondent Group.
Please check.
