Although Ebay changes the layout, Myibidder work? Wed Feb 06, 2013 12:57 PM Quote

Hello!

I apologize in advance if I do some mistakes, but I'm Italian.

However, I found Myibidder recently, and I read various topics on the forum in which you talked about the changes Ebay is doing on the layout, and the disappearances of Myibidder buttons.

Now, the question is simple and is the title:

Although Ebay is making these changes, myibidder otherwise makes what he should do, right?

I'm using the Chrome plugin, and that's what I see in my account there:

It's all right? The red colour what means?

There could be problems for the fact that I'm in Italy, while the auction is in England?

I don't know how it works with synchronization, does everything Myibidder?

Thank you!

Yes, if you can add the item -- Myibidder will snipe it.

You are good and ready to snipe. The red colors means the snipe is activated.

If your seller does not have some restrictions based on your address, then you are fine.
If not sure, you can try to place a minimum manual bid first to make sure you can place bids on this item.

I talked to the seller about it.

In the auction had restricted shipments to England only, but speaking privately confirmed to me that he can ship anywhere and would gladly shipped out from England, if I won the auction.

So, in agreement with the seller, I temporarily put in Ebay the address of an English friend, in order to participate despite the restriction :)

Let me ask you something else.

There are other auctions in which I would like to participate, and of course I should take part with my real address.

So, if I put my normal address and only a few hours from the end of the auction I mentioned, I put the English one...?

There should be no problems, right?

Yes, that should be fine.
Many sellers don't put this restriction. So you the easiest way to find out is to place a minimum manual bid first using your real address. If your manual bid did not work, you need to change the address.

In the auction that I showed you, if I tried to make an offer with my Italian address, it gave me error and told me that due to restrictions on shipments was not possible for me to participate in the auction.

Changing address, I could easily bid.

So for all the other auctions I will use my normal address, and for this I will use the English one.

Thanks for your help :)
