Adding a Snipe bid to an auction Mon Oct 29, 2012 09:29 PM Quote

Just bought the iOS app and I'm sure I'm missing something: When I search for an item and find it, I see a "place bid" button. But these bids seems to go directly into eBay--not into the snipe system. I WAS able to setup a new snipe, but I did it by copying the item number and typing it (pasting didn't work) into "Add Item Number." But I cannot believe this is the planned workflow. Once I have found an item in search, how can I directly create a snipe?
Thanks.

When you snipe, you don't have to place your bid directly.
You just add the snipe to your list and set up your absolute maximum. You can add it by copying the item number as you did before, or by clicking "+" button on the top screen when you browse eBay within the app.
I think the "+" is the button you were asking for.
