I looked through the last 4 pages of threads and came across a couple dated Jan 2009 regarding the ability of sorting, re-ordering and re-sizing the columns. It was stated it was in the "todo" list.

Without coming off the wrong way, three years later, the only change is in the software where you can sort. No other changes have been made regarding these.

Having the auction ending soonest would be the logical way to sort, but I see a purpose to re-order the seller column to group their items together.

The item number (once it is in the list) isn't the most important column, the current and snipe bid would make sense if they were to next to one another and it's annoying to re-size the columns all the time.

I realize this applies only to the software since the web interface is fixed.

You can remove columns which you don't need, it's up to you.
The current bid is not a real-time information so it's questionable on if it's useful to be next to the snipe or not.

Yes, other things are lower priority now. But they'll be implemented some day.
