I'm getting this error on windows 2008 Standard SP2 x32.

What version of the software did you try to use?

What version do you use when you right click on "myibay.exe" in Program Files and check Properties?

I only just downloaded it from one of your links in the download section.

Something weird with your Windows. The icon it's trying to load is a standard Windows icon which works fine with Windows Vista (AFAIR, Windows 2008 non-R2 version is basically based on Vista), so the only suggestion is to check if you have all updates (including non-critical ones) installed.
The software should continue working even with this error message, but you won't be able to minimize it to the system tray only.

P.S.: I have a beta version. It has changes unrelated to the icon, but maybe something affected that so you may want to give it a try anyway:

Thanks, beta is the same though. Maybe it is something with 2008, not had any other problems with any other programs.

My windows is also fully updates so its not that.

I did install some BDA drivers to get a tv capture card working that could of messed it up I guess.

Anyway it seems to full work apart from the system try icon. And the shortcut icons.

I'll see what I can do. Will not be easy without being able to replicate the same thing on my end.
