For some reason my "Snipe it" in Firefox doesn't go passed the processing stage. I do not get the option to bid.

i've got the same problem.
if i try to snipe an auction myibay only get's to "processing" and then freezes.

im working with the latest firefox 12.0 and myibidder (myibay) 1.2.6 on win7 ultimate 64bit.

reinstalling the addon or trying with different settings have no effect.
it still doesn't work...
even reinstalling firefox doesn't work...

here's a screenshot of the freezeframe:

Please also provide the eBay link where you see it so I can replicate the issue.

the problem occurs with every ebay-item.
it doesn't matter wich category or land i want to buy...
tested it on ebay england, germany and usa.

one thing i forgot to mention:
i now use a new setup of my whole system (2 days old) using a clean and blank backup of my windows.
then i used new drivers for the whole system.
firefox was also freshly downloaded from the mozilla website.
but i used an backup by "mozbackup" from my former firefox 12.0 to reinstall all the settings and addons.

maybe i should uninstall firefox again and install myibay (and all other addons) manually?
this is the only idea i got left...

I still need the link in order to try to replicate the issue.

I don't know what "mozbackup" does, but you could always install the addon from Mozilla website:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/myibay-auction-bid-sniper-ebay/

problem solved:

firefox and thunderbird have been buggy.
so i installed the whole system new.
after installing windows i installed firefox and all my addons manually.

that means i only got my bookmarks from an old mozbackup-file.
all firefox-settings had to be handmade.
and all addons had also to be installed one-by-one.

after that everything (including myibay) works fine again.

it was a lot of work but it was worth it.
no more sorrows.
:o)
