i had several snipes that did not work with error message "paypal not linked to ebay account." i don't think this is correct, but just in case, i went to the accounts tab in ebay and re-linked my account; but i'm concerned that this is a my ibay error, as i can't imagine how this would have come unlinked?

i missed winning several items so i'd really appreciate the repair of this

Myibay does not do linking and unlinking of your accounts. You have a full control over it.
