so far best sniping software I ever had... easy to use and most important IT WORKS PERFECT!!!
I have a simple wish that is easy to implement for one of the next releases.

Can you add the option/feature (notes content visible/not visible) for Notes field? I do not mean the Notes column it self...that i know I can show or hide... Currently there is in the Notes field only a "*" shown that indicates that there is a note to the auction but it does not show what is written. It's a bit inconvenient to make always a right mouse click, then select "Snip" and go to the notes tab to see the actual note. I use that notes field quite frequently to add some comments to the auction.

Thank you for your suggestion Chris. It will be definitely implemented because it was suggested several times.
I'm thinking it will be as an option to display "*" or the whole notes.

The main problem was that some users put a lot of information in that field (something the whole auction's description) and that will not fit in one line. That's why it will be as an option to enable/disable.

Maybe you should make it like a tooltip - it shows only on mouse over.

If that works for you, that's even better and easier. No extra options to keep and manage.

Hi Its easy to do with js, but still... you have to connect to the server-side to retrieve "note" (whenever you want to c it or when page comes up on login) and it will increase traffic on server. There are always many ways to go, but "speed" is the KEY for sniping, so... whats you preferences : nice interface (my choice)))) or reliable sniping?)

Has anything been done to be able to see notes? I'm currently bidding on some items from Germany, and the title appears in German in the title field. It would be really useful for me if I could just add a word or two in English in the notes field just to remind me of what each item is when I don't recognise it in German.

The final decision is to make Notes visible when you do Mouse Over on the notes field.
Will be done in the next version. There is no ETA yet, but there are currently a list of cosmetic bug fixes which will be included in that release.

I'm feeling lost again (and I'm fairly computer literate).

I cannot see or find the Notes field, something I would have suggested (especially for entering ship quotes) if I hadn't run across the thread while reading the forums.

Is it because I'm running the web-based version of myIBidder? (on Chrome, with the iBidder extension enabled).

I have Windows (Vista) only on the home-based notebook so am in the habit of using the web-based app both from my workplace on breaks (Vista, managed platform and no installs on my part) and my 2 Android devices.

I'm a little bit vested in wanting the same functionality across all platforms.

Hi Sashka - I cannot get the notes mouseover popup to work on myibidder - I have to open the auction and click on the notes tab to see my notes (which is where I put the postage).

It would be great to make the notes appear as a flyout / popup when I mouseover the * in the notes, or else make the postage field editable so I can put the postage amount in there (maybe restricted to currency / numeric values).

Any idea why the popup feature is not working or if the Postage field could be editable?

No problems - You first mentioned it was going to be implemented in 2010, I just assumed it had and I'd missed the update / there was a regressive bug that stopped it from working... No problems, I'll keep waiting...
