Hello all,
I have a questionwith regard to solving problems with seller.
I am from germany and used to buy things on german "ebay.de". In the last few weeks I had some issues after end of auction (e.g. seller did not deliver).
Every time when I try to create a ebay problem report there comes up an information box that the auction was down via ebay-UK and I have to go to ebay UK resolution center.
Is it possible to change this so that problems could be solved via ebay.de?
Thank you very much for your feedback.
cu, Klaus

Due to German limitations (language difficulties) I may not be able to offer a sniping through ebay.de so all international bids go through eBay UK instead.
I had a few persons who offered a help with it, but none of them followed up. If you are willing to help (I need the translation of about 100 different responses from eBay and beta testing), I'll be more than glad to add this feature.
The main problem is that I don't have all those responses and it will probably come out during beta testing so you should be able to respond quickly if a new message come out from eBay.
If not, you can go ahead and submit a report through eBay UK. I'm sure they can handle it as well as eBay Germany.

Hello,
I know it's an old thread but the problem still persists.
How about making the translation a community project. Just post the phrases you have to be translated here in the forum and we'll see, how fast it can be translated.
Best regards!

cph,
Do you need eBay Germany or you are looking for some other one?

Right, I'm looking for eBay Germany.
The reason is I've already had problems with sellers and eBay Germany nor Paypal haven't helped as the bids haven't been made over ebay.de.
Trying to solve the problems over ebay.com (USA) or ebay.uk don't function neither.

Interesting. What happened with eBay UK in this matter? I've heard they handle it pretty well.

The actual case is still open and handled by ebay.uk (I'm waiting for an reaction from ebay.uk or the seller).
When I'll get some new information I'll inform you.

I have a similar problem to this which indicates that it isn't a language problem.
My bids are supposed to go through Ebay Uk but my support is routed through Ebay US.
I'm finding it difficult as the US service centre seems to not want to help at all whereas with the UK service there was very helpful staff.
This started happening around August this year.
Was there a system update around then?

Hello Sashka,
I could solve the actual case myself so I have no new information about solving "German cases" over EBay UK.

The sniper has nothing to do with your eBay settings.
Currently, it snipes this way:
All PayPal-based auctions are sniped using eBay US.
All International auctions (usually the ones are not PayPal-based) are sniped using eBay UK.
We are currently working on a feature where you can specify the behavior you need (for example, snipe using eBay UK on all listings).
P.S.: eBay US was always nice with me when I need to resolve any issues, so you may try to contact them again and explain your situation. Maybe eBay got confused and some things are not clear enough for them.
