Hello,

I placed the snipe about 5 minutes before the auction end and I bid much higher then the other people. And not only I didn't win - the snipe didn't even get placed:( I checked all the possible options why and I do not see any reason why I shouldn't have won. I'm terribly upset and don't understand how this could have happened.

Please let me know what happened.

You did not provide the item number so I can't tell you exactly what happened.
There are could be several reasons:
1. You did not meet eBay's requirements (i.e. bid increment).
2. You did not meet seller's requirements (i.e. shipping restrictions).
3. You actually activated your snipe much less than 5 minutes before auction ended.

You can check the "My Status" field for more information (located on the Snipe window). If it's empty, then it's #3.

Sorry - the item number is 190394162854. I placed a bid - $404 on ebay and then placed 459 on the snipe - and it never bidded it for me :(

I checked this snipe and it appears you activated your snipe about 1 minute and 20 seconds before auction ended (not 5 minutes as you mentioned originally).

You have to give more time for the snipe to be able to activate and be ready:

Thanks very much for your help! I thought it was much earlier then that - but you're probably right, I didn't realize it was that close to the end of the auction.

Also - let me just point out that you provide Amazing support here! I wish other companies would take example from you guys of how true customer support is to be done!!!
