Please note that having snipe less than 6 seconds will not give other opportunity to snipe back as they won't have enough time to react.
If they seems to react, that probably because they snipe too.

Anyway, you are free to set any time you want to try.
Having it at 6-10 seconds is my personally recommendation based on my personal experience only, that's why you have your own choice too
